I’m so excited to be doing a public workshop this Saturday, April 12! This is one of my few public events, so come on out and join me for an awesome afternoon of writing and chatting about everything that goes into it!

Specifically, I plan on talking about point of view, and in particular why the first person present point of view is so popular in YA literature. I wrestled with this issue a ton while writing No Dawn Without Darkness. (Did I mention No Dawn Without Darkness is written in the first person present…??? SPOILER ALERT!) If you’re there, I might share more about that whole thing…;)

So please scamper to Hartford, CT on Saturday! The workshop is from 1-4pm at the Mark Twain House and Museum, and tickets are available here.

Wouldn’t it be cool if they did a virtual bookshop so people all around the world could participate 🙂
